Leland & Familiar Pet Co. provides warm, individualized pet care for families in Leland and the surrounding coastal North Carolina area. With more than 10 years in the pet-care industry, I’ve built my work around trust, patience, clear communication, and paying attention to the animal in front of me.

Experienced, thoughtful care

I’m bonded, insured, educated, and CPR certified. My experience includes caring for pets with different routines, personalities, medical needs, and behavioral considerations, along with experience in aquatic and bird care.

Rescue is part of my life

I’m a rescue mom, with pups and kitties of my own and usually a few fosters around. I also proudly sit on the board of Wagon Tails Farm Rescue as their Membership and Events Director. Rescue and foster work continue to shape how I see animals: as individuals with their own histories, needs, boundaries, and ways of communicating.

Good pet care is more than completing a checklist. It’s learning the routines, quirks, preferences, and comfort signals that make your pets themselves. Whether I’m caring for a senior, a special-needs animal, a bird, an aquatic pet, a rescue, or a household full of personalities, my goal is to provide dependable care that feels familiar.
